WHO WE ARE
The Parent Booster Club is a fun and relaxed group of parents of Dakota Hills Middle School students. Everyone is welcome to join the club or step in to one of our meetings to find out what we do and meet other parents involved.
Our principal, Dr. Johnson, is always at the meetings and gives us a short report of what is going on with the school and the school district. He likes to participate and be present in these meetings to listen to what parents have to say.
As parents, we get to know what is going on in Middle School and give our time to help raise money to help get extra funds to support education. We also raise money to help charities, appreciate all staff and help teachers out with a mini grant each year.
If you were involved at the PTO of elementary school, which is a tremendous amount of work, we can understand why you might like a break. Please rethink and join us, this is a very informal, yet passionate group of people, who meet once a month and volunteer in the events we have scheduled, once a month for a couple of hours.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the DHMS Parent Booster Club (PBC) is to support student education and to recognize and appreciate the great staff at DHMS. The PBC sponsors several fundraisers to raise money to cover costs that may not be covered within the regular budget for student activities and staff appreciation.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
A very fun and casual group of parents. We meet once a month (except December, June, July and August) from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm.
