Monster Jam!

So maybe you're new to Monster jam so I will tell you about it. There are super big trucks that are about 10.5 feet tall and weigh around 12,000 pounds. Also they are 12.5 feet wide and 17 feet long and they have 66 inch tires. Also Monster Jam happens in New Orleans, North Carolina, and in St Louis. Monster Jam was founded in October 1992. I have been to 4 different Monster Jam shows. Have you ever been to one? If not, I will tell you all about it. They have snacks like hot dogs,popcorn,candy bars,drinks,etc.
It normally costs around $15-20. Personally I think it's good food. Also the person that created Monster Jam is United States Hot Rod Association and then in 2008 was taken over by Failed Entertainment. According to Google, Monster Jam is rated a 3.3 out of five. Also If you were wondering who are the top five best Monster Jam drivers here their names are Tom Minton, Dennis Anderson, Adam Anderson, and Jim Koehler. My favorite driver is the El Toro Loco driven by Armando Castro. Who is your favorite driver? My brother's favorite is the Megalodon driver by Ashley Stanford. She has been driving since 2023. Her stunts are always great, my brother says. So it comes down to my opinion. My opinion is that Monster Jam is great. I think it's always a fun experience and I think you should always go. Why We Celebrate Memorial Day

Do you know what Memorial Day is? If not, I will explain how we celebrate it and why we celebrate it. Memorial Day is on Monday,May 26th. We celebrate Memorial Day to mourn and honor its deceased servicemen and women.
Memorial Day is the last Monday of May. It was originally called Decoration Day but it was formalized by a “Memorial Day Order” issued by Grand Army of the Republic Commander-in-Chief John A. Logan in 1868. The modern proclamation calls on Americans “to observe Memorial Day by praying, according to their individual religious faith, for permanent peace.
People celebrate Memorial Day in many different ways. Some people attend Memorial Day parades, visit a cemetery, put a flag up, or a moment of silence. Memorial Day first started in Waterloo, New York. Countries that celebrate Memorial Day are Russia, Israel, Australia, Netherlands, United Kingdom, and Germany. The official flower for Memorial Day is the poppy. A poppy is the official flower to honor the fallen and support the living who have worn our nation's uniform. A red poppy is a symbol of sacrifice worn by Americans since World War I to honor those who served and died for our country in all wars.
In conclusion, Memorial Day has many important traditions and symbols behind it and it’s a very important holiday. Memorial Day is very important and we need to honor and remember those who sacrificed their lives for our country and nation.

What is 4-H

So I was thinking long and hard about what I am going to write about for my front page? Well I decided to write about 4-H. So what is 4-H? 4-H is a youth development program in the United states,focused on positive youth development,learning, and community engagement. So what does 4-H stand for? It stands for head,heart,hands and health. So what can you do in 4-H? You can do horse judging, poultry judging and many different competitions and also volunteer work. If you do 60 hr plus of volunteer work and if you get all 60 hr you can start receiving scholarship to NC state which is a state school in north carolina. Is there a certain age for 4-H? No 4-H survives everyone and every age. So what are some other things can you do in 4-H? Well there are workshops and internships you can do. There are also so many clubs you can join to help you find internships and activities to help you grow and learn. At the end of the year there is an award ceremony and you can get recognized at the award ceremonies and you can get granted money and also win money. So when was 4-H funded? It was founded in 1902 in Clark county Ohio and it was considered the birth of 4-H. The first club ever to be in 4-H was the tomato club. So in conclusion 4-H can help you learn, grow and get you ready for the real world that you're going into.
Mother’s Day

Mothers Day is a time to celebrate your mom,your stepmom,your grandma,and your aunt. Many people make their mom breakfast in bed,or even get them a gift,or make one at home. Some people even go out for dinner,but according to my mom,all she really wants is for her children to listen. Here are some things my classmates and I do for Mother’s Day. I do a Mother’s Day cookout and hangout with family and friends. This year,I also gave my mom a surprise gift that had some of her favorite things like chocolate and some hair ties because I steal them sometimes. My friend Ava Brown goes out for dinner and goes to her grandma's house for lunch. Miley Dawn goes out at her mom’s favorite place or wherever she wants and spends the day with her. Maddie Grill goes to church and then she goes out to brunch with her family. Avery Sarvis goes out for lunch with her family. Austin Hogan treats his mother very nicely and makes her food. Abigail Peterlin goes out to brunch with her and her family gets her flowers,a gift card, and a painting. Mattie Zo Herring, “I gave her a gift basket when she woke up, and then went to my brother’s soccer game, and then went out for Italian, and then we made ice cream sundaes at home and had fireworks.” So from what I learned, no matter what you do for your mom, just be kind and helpful, but the gifts and meals and all the other things are just there for extra happiness and some joy.
