Survival vs.Intelligence, Who Wins?
By Elizabeth V
How far would a person go to protect themselves in a world where being smart isn't always enough.Weak Hero class 1 explores this question through a story about bullying, friendship and survival.
The story takes place in a high school that follows Yeon Si-yeon a quiet, top student who completely isolates himself to focus entirely on his academics,Because of this, he becomes a target for bullying,However, instead of taking the harassments, Si-eun fights back, using his high intelligence and surrounding objects to outsmart his bullies
As the bullying escalates, Si-eun reluctantly works together with two other outcasts, Ahn suho a former MMA fighter, and Oh Beom-soek, a timid transfer student, together the trio tads up against the bullies.what stated out as a fight for survival, quickly spirals into a larger conflict involving a gang. This pushes the trio's loyalty to its absolute limit in a raw and emotional battle against a corrupt world
What makes this drama stand out to me the most,is the way the actors make the fight scenes feel dangerous and realistc. But also portrays three vulnerable teenagers who just want to live a normal life.
Zaxby’s
I go to Zaxby’s a lot and here are my thoughts and opinions about the restaurant. The nearest Zaxby’s is located over by Walmart and is a relatively popular restaurant in the area and a place that I really enjoy. When I typically go there I get a fried chicken sandwich and fries with a lemonade and sometimes get an extra side of tenders. The food is price wise pretty comparable to most other fried chicken chains in the area so expect to spend about 15 dollars. The staff that work at the restaurant are most always kind and act like they want to be there and the time it takes to get your food is pretty quick. The food is very good. The chicken tenders are great and always juicy and tasty, the sandwich has all the right parts and is extremely solid, and the lemonade is good while it is a little bitter. It is still overall pretty good and everything that I have had from their menu has been good. If I was to give Zaxby’s a rating I would probably give it a 9.5 out of 10 because it is a little price as all fast food restaurants are but it is overall really good.
A Race Against Time
By: Elizabeth V.
The Netflix k-drama Mr.Plankton is a road trip series that explores themes of love, regret, and the importance of living the moment.I enjoyed this show because it was really entertaining to watch, but it also changed my perspective of life.
The story centres on Hae-jo, a smug and arrogant guy who runs a shady, underground business. Because of a medical fertility mix-up at birth, Hae-jo never knew his biological father, and spent his entire life feeling adrift and unloved, similar to a drithing ocean plankton
He finds out he has a deadly brain tumor that left him with only 3 months left to live.Determined to find his real father, he ventures out on a road trip.Along the way, he encounters Jae-mi. His unfortunate ex-lover who too, is going through her own medical news.He kidnaps her from a wealthy food empire heir and the two venture out across the countryside of south korea as they get chased down by a furious finance and a violent gang.
Although the story is completely unrealistic, the show succeeds because of the great acting and the deep chemistry between the leads,
