Are You An Organized Mess?
By Emi Dales
Being organized is something everybody can do, it’s completely
optional but highly recommended. Getting in the habit of being organized
is really useful because all of your things are in order and it helps you keep track of assignments or notebooks/folders so you would know where everything is. For example, if you lost something you can check in a specific spot you had put it in earlier that day and there is a good chance it might be there! Having a specific spot for certain things is a great starting point on being organized! Another tip on why being organized is helpful is that it can save you time when switching classes. It really helped me a lot because all I needed to do was grab what I needed and just head to class. There was no rushing, looking through my things and panicking just because I might get tardies. I hope you will try to be organized so you won’t be late and have an easier time taking care of your things.
Don't Hate It Till You Try It.
By Alyssa Bost
Do you hate trying something new because you'll be scared that you're not going to do it well? Just be yourself and try as hard as you can.
Let me give you something new you could try. This year’s Powder Puff it’s once a year. If you don't like it, you don't have to do it again. Maybe you will have fun or learn something new.
You could also try and get into FFA. FFA is Future Farmers of America. You might like to own a farm one day. Even the biggest and stinkiest animals are scary. But also cute too.
Another thing you could try is FCA. FCA is a Fellowship of Christian Athletics. It's never too late to get closer with God through this program. It's not as scary as church. But still get to have fun. Learning through games and sports.
Have that confidence in yourself. Never worry about messing up and try to keep that Elite mindset. You never know till you try. You can conquer the world if you set your mind to it.
Diving For Advice

Playing as a ds (defensive specialist)/ libero in volleyball can be very difficult so here are some tips. I play volleyball and these two tips helped me lots so I hope that they help you. Tip #1: Talk/ communicate with your team. This helps not only you but also your teammates. For example, if you and one of your teammates both go for a ball, you can run into each other. If you communicate, you can tell the other players that you have the ball and not run into each other. Tip #2: Hustle. If your coach sees that you aren't hustling, they might not put you in and they might not like you as much. Some examples of hustle could be running the line for every ball even if you think it is out and going for every ball. If you just go for it, I promise that you can get up way more of the balls than you think. Those are 2 tips that really helped me play ds so I hope that they help you!
