US and Iran Ceasefire

The US and Iran have agreed to a two week temporary ceasefire on April 7th 2026 which is supposed to lead to a more permanent outcome and avoid wider conflict in which the US needs Iran to give ships carrying oil safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz which is needed considering the global oil crisis happening right now.

NASA's Artemis II mission splashdown

The Artemis II mission that had launched back in March has returned with a splash in the Pacific Ocean bringing with it all 4 crewmembers in good health after the ten day trip around the moon to test the Orion spacecraft's life support and re-entry heat shielding during which the heat shielding held up proving earlier suspicion about the heat shielding's integrity.

On April 23rd 2026,Mount Pleasant Middle School had an away soccer game against Concord Middle School.The game was held at Concord Middle School. We won our very first soccer game in 20 years. And in one of our players' personal opinions ¨We won because we were tired of people saying we were terrible and they were smack talking us on Tic Tok¨ The score was 4-2. Congratulations for your one day winning streak!
