How to Study for EOGs
By: Evelyn Greene
I have four tips on how to study for your EOGs. I hope you take my advice and it works well for you. Tip #1: You can always make flashcards or notes that help you study. I typically make flashcards before reading EOGs because it helps me remember my vocabulary words. Tip #2: Bring home your notes and/or worksheets. This will help you remember the strategies you learned that will help you. Tip #3: Study older things first. What I mean by this is as you go through the year you will remember the stuff you learned a few weeks ago but not a lot of stuff you learned a few months ago. Tip #4: Put all distractions away. Put your phone away! Turn off your TV! Put your sketch books or coloring books away! This will help you concentrate on studying. I hope all of these tips help you get a good score on your EOGs.
How to Stay Organized
By: Annabelle Amos
For some people it can be difficult to stay organized but for other people it is easier. I hope you take these three tips so that it can help you! Tip #1: Clean your room very often. I clean my room about once a week and it stays clean. I think once a week works pretty good for me but you can do it as often as you need for it to work for you. Tip #2: Clean things up as you use them. For example if you use a perfume don't just leave it sitting there. Put it away because it is easier to clean up one thing as you use it rather than many things at once. Tip #3: Clean out your backpack and folder often. Keeping your room clean is important but so is keeping your stuff for school organized. Going to school is much easier when you have a clean backpack and folder. I hope you use these tips and I hope that they help you stay clean and organized!
Why do you Get in Trouble for Things You Don't Do?
By: Korbin Thomas
Well one reason this can happen is because of the people you're friends with or hang around with. A lot of times teachers or parents will think that you did it because the people around you did which is wrong but there's not much you can do other than not argue so that you don't get in more trouble. The second reason is that you're a known trouble maker which is completely on you. The only way to fix this in my opinion would be to just stop getting in trouble because other than that I really don't think there is another way to not be considered a trouble maker. Then we have the third reason that you likely get in trouble for no reason which is teachers just making mistakes they aren’t perfect. They have to watch like a class of 30 students with probably half of the students goofing off or not following directions. This is a distraction which makes it harder for them to pay attention to all 30 students and they also have to do their own work. The students aren't the only ones who have to do work, teachers have to make things like homework, the papers we work on and many other things.
