A Trusted Friendship
By: Olivia T.
Do you have friends that respect and care for you? Friends are people who you go to for comfort, they are also someone who you hang out with on a regular basis. But one of the most important things about having a friendship with someone is knowing what kind of person they are and if they are trustworthy. All of this information may seem a bit demanding but who you hang out with also affects your personality.
A trusting friendship is something everyone should have. You should be able to trust your friends, if you can not trust them then how are you supposed to rely on them for anything? Trust is something very important in any type of relationship, especially friendship. Friends are meant to support you and lift up your spirits. They should not be the ones who put you down and they should not be the kind of person who makes you feel guilty about you being yourself around them. I believe that finding a trustworthy friendship is not difficult but it does involve you showing your true colors and giving off a bit of trust.
Was 1982 Better than 2026?
By: Lucas Raven
If I had to pick, 1982 sounds way better than 2026. Sure, in 2026 we have better phones, but it seems stressful. In 1982, there was no internet, which sounds actually fun. You could just go outside and play without your parents texting you every five minutes. The movies were better, like E.T.. Plus, kids in 1982 played Atari and hung out at the mall and arcades, which sounds way funner than staring at a screen all day.
Another reason 1982 is better is the music. Michael Jackson Released Thriller, which is still popular. Everything in 2026 is so serious and expensive, but back then, you could probably buy a whole lunch with just a couple dollars. My parents said they just rode bikes until dark and no one cared. Now, everything is about social media and being safe, which is boring. I think having more freedom and less annoying technology makes 1982 the winner over 2026. I wish I could play arcade games in 1982 instead of worrying about my phone battery.
