We support Grievers, Caregivers and the Veterinary Community. Paws To Connect Counseling specializes in therapy for grief, loss, trauma, caregiver fatigue, women's issues; and the intersection of mental health, wellness and veterinary
We are committed to meeting clients where they are at on their healing journey, and supporting and providing inclusive services to all individuals from all diverse backgrounds, perspectives, belief systems, and lived experiences.
We provide supportive services and therapy within the following arenas and populations: Grief, loss, intersection of bereavement and trauma, caregiving for loved one with life-limiting or life/threatening illnesses, women’s issues across the lifespan, and the intersection of mental health/wellness and veterinary medicine.
PIP students will
- planning and co-facilitating a range of different support groups for grievers, caregivers, veterinary professionals.
- planning and co-facilitating different types of special therapeutic events (such as art memorial events and de-stressing art events)
- designing, integrating and/or providing individual activities and interventions (planning and facilitating/cofacilitating)
- co-planning and designing both interventions for therapeutic activities and groups and conducting, designing marketing and psychoeducational materials for clients and veterinary practices)
