Services begin with an intake interview in which each client completes paperwork, learns about policies and procedures along with an assessment of the family situation to ensure proper services to each individual family.
This interview provides a forum where questions are answered and a cooperative working relationship is established therefore creating a foundation for successful supervision. To schedule an intake interview, please contact Anna Tyrrell at 440-476-2958.
Once assessed, families will be designated as a Level III, II, or I. Level III (3) is a family needing therapeutic intervention, reunification therapy, and or relationship repair to facilitate time with a parent and their child(ren). This service will be provided by a licensed therapist trained in restorative practice, family reunification and visitation supervision. Level II (2) is a family needing coaching and some therapeutic intervention to promote a safe, nurturing relationship between parent and child(ren) for successful visits. This service may be provided by a credentialed or licensed mental health professional trained in visitation supervision. Level I (1) is a family needing only monitoring during their visit to access for family time on an ongoing basis. This service may be provided by an uncredentialed professional or college student trained in visitation supervision. Families can move from one level to another based on their progress and management of their intervention and time during visits.
____ Payment is expected in advance prior to the visit. Payment can be made by cash, cashier’s check, credit card on site or through IvyPay, a processing app.
____ At least 12 hours advance notice of cancellation of a scheduled visitation is required otherwise the canceling party will be charged a cancellation fee equal to the amount of the visit.
____ Advance notice of less than 4 hours to rescheduling, canceling, or dismissing (no-show) visitation will result in the entire amount of the visitation to be paid by the party who canceled the visitation plus a $50.00 rescheduling fee.
____ If any supervisor is subpoenaed to court to testify, a $600.00 retainer must be paid in advance of the court time and a fee of $200 per hour will be billed against that retainer. All hourly time and expenses will be deducted from that fee. The fee will cover all time spent either on travel time, court time, waiting time, etc. to the party issuing the subpoena.
____ If you are more than 10 minutes late picking up your child/ren or more than 10 minutes late dropping off your child/ren by eastern standard time, there will be a charge of $2.00 per minute added until your arrival.
____ Visitation will not take place with any person who appears to be or who is believed to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or who appears to be experiencing emotional problems to the extent that the physical or emotional welfare of the child/ren might be endangered. The person causing the cancellation will be responsible for the payment of the visitation plus the $50.00 cancellation fee.
____ During a visit, adults not will discuss issues related to the divorce, pending litigation, or future living arrangements in the presence of the child/ren. As well, adults will avoid derogatory remarks about the other parent or family members in the presence of or hearing range of the child/ren. No one is permitted to ask questions of child/ren or encourage the child/ren to discuss information about the other parent regarding such issues. A separate sheet with more detailed tips and guidelines for a successful visit will be provided.
____ Supervised or monitored visits will not be provided on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Easter, July 4th, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve/Day. Other significant holidays will be managed between the parties and Supervisor.
