There are times that family members are asked to provide Supervised Visitation in order to save costs to the parent requiring supervision. These family members may be a grandparent, aunt or uncle, adult sibling or family friend. Unfortunately, problems and conflict can arise when the child(ren) don't know which adult to go to for help, to seek comfort, or ask permissions. The adults may run into conflict over disciplinary styles, parenting philosophy, or logistics regarding the visit. For these situations, we provide a service to help establish guidelines for the adults and children to promote successful and enjoyable time together.
This packaged program is $500 for five sessions:
A separate intake for the parent and the supervising adult
A joint session to address potential issues and establish guidelines for visits
A joint session including the children to review the guidelines
A follow up session after 3 months to assess success and address any challenges
