  4. discussed how current can be induced in two different ways: (1) change size or orientation of a circuit in a constant B field; (2) change the magnetic field through a stationary circuit

  5. discussed how a conducting rod/wire dragged through a uniform magnetic field sets up an induced electric potential...process of charge separation stops when the magnetic force = electric force or qvB=qE which means vB=E ... discussed that the potential difference induced, V=v(L)(B) where L is the length of the conductor, v is the speed it is dragged through the field, and B is the strength of the field.

  6. worked an example problem of dragging a conductor through an unknown magnetic field (given L, V, and v, determine B's magnitude and direction)
