My Brothers and Sisters, Fraters and Sorores;
Spring!!! What a magical time. The life force is reasserting its dominance after a season of rest. Inactivity and inertia are giving way to creativity and rebuilding. We know that a basic principle at work in this world is entropy: all energy, all expressions in the physical world slowly changing from coherence and vibrancy to a lower state of expression – in other words, everything is wearing out. Spring and its resurgence of life force seem to fly in the face of entropy.
As I look into shallow brooks I see hundreds of newly hatched minnows just swarming and reveling in being born. I see trees budding forth with new life, I see blades of grass pushing through the soil to seek the life giving energy of the sun. I see ducklings and goslings, in all their beautiful bright yellow pre-feather “fur” scurrying and investigating their new world of rivers and lakes.
The life force that dominates the spring is just amazing. This force not only causes life to resurge in the spring but has found and continues to find new ways of expressing. Look at all the different forms of life: birds in all their different colors, sizes, and shapes, insects with so much variety that science is still discovering new ones, animals, big like elephants and unusual like kangaroos and platypuses. The whole process of evolution is one of the life force trying out new ways to express, some successful and some failing, but all still striving to manifest this life force in some way.
We live in a wonderful world, and I do mean full of wonder. Take this opportunity of the spring season to open up to the grandeur and miracle of God’s creations and the wondrous ways the Cosmic works in manifesting this world. Observe and appreciate and give thanks for the many expressions of life and be aware of the opportunities the life force has provided in your personal earthly journey. It is all a great gift
May you ever dwell in the Eternal Light of Divine Wisdom!
