Greetings, Fratres, Sorores, and Friends of AMORC!
It is hard to believe that a year has already passed since I was installed as Master of Mountain Rose Pronaos. But the wheel turns, time flows, and the Light will now be tended by another. I give my sincere thanks to Soror Judith Stewart for accepting the torch and taking on this responsibility. I look forward to her leadership, and continued opportunities to Serve our beloved Order. I also wish to thank the members of the Pronaos who served in so many roles during this past year to enable us to sustain a pronaos in the Denver area.
In the past year, Mountain Rose Pronaos has welcomed a few new members and seen many visitors. I am thankful for every one. The affiliated body experience is one of the many rewarding aspects of membership in AMORC, and I hope you have been able to attend your local affiliated body. Book salons, degree forums, Convocations, and open meetings are just some of the functions that Mountain Rose Pronaos offers to members and Seekers. These provide opportunities for fellowship and to share the mystical experience. In our Convocations, we have heard and discussed messages from several Grand Masters. These topics covered Rosicrucian Healing, Attunement and Reflection, Meditation in Sacred Spaces, and the Nature of the Master Within. While these topics are all covered in the monographs for home study, many members find it enriching to explore these topics in discussion with other mystics to learn other dimensions and to develop deeper insights into them. If you are an active member of AMORC, I invite you to attend a Convocation or a Degree Forum to see for yourself, and to share your thoughts. Another aspect of the affiliated body experience is the opportunity to participate in the mystical work we do in the service of humanity, the so-called "Great Work", during our meditations and attunement exercises. Doing the Great Work in concert with other mystics is an exercise that helps to amplify the effects of this Service, much like many small lights when combined shine as a Great Light. As mystics, we all eventually come to learn that service to humanity is a core principle for spiritual advancement. I know we all serve humanity in many ways, and if you can attend your local affiliated body, or support it with AMRA, your service take on an added dimension that will be effective and deeply appreciated. Although Service brings many rewards in return, I have found that Service is truly its own reward.
May you experience Peace Profound as we enter this Rosicrucian New Year on the occasion of the Spring Equinox.
