Attention Rookies and Veteran Staffers!!
Prerequisite and required trainings must be completed before your arrival at the Lair for both Rookies and Veteran staffers.
New this summer: When you get to Camp, our Berkeley People & Culture Team will greet and check you in to confirm you're all set, so take the time (now) to arrive prepared!
Follow the links below for where to take each course. If you've already completed a course and your certification is still valid, upload the certificate of completion to the onboarding task in BambooHR. (Retake the course if your certificate will expire before your camp departure date.)
VETS: Even if your certificates are still valid from the previous year you still need to re-submit them again.

Prerequisite for all staffers. Renew every 2 years. Not eligible for reimbursement
Prerequisite for Lifeguards, Pool Crew, and age group directors of Teddy Bears and older. (Optional for Age Group Assistant Directors) Renew every 2 years. Not eligible for reimbursement
Required for all staff, except Head Cooks and 2nd Cooks. Renew every 3 years.
Eligible for reimbursement - upload receipt to the onboarding task in BambooHR
Required for Head Cooks & 2nd Cooks. Renew every 5 years.
Eligible for reimbursement - upload receipt to the onboarding task in BambooHR
Required for all staffers. Renew every year.
Free 2 hours COURSE ONLY. Take a screen shot of your status showing you have completed the course; you do not need to take the exam or get an official certificate.
Required for all supervisory positions (i.e., PDs, APDs, and age group directors) Renew every year.
Free 2 hour online course
Required for all non-supervisory positions. Renew every year.
Free 1 hour online course
