How do I get paid? 

Complete onboarding through BambooHR, you will be prompted to add your banking information for direct deposit of your check. This is the most secure and reliable way to be paid.

• • Direct Deposit - To update to your bank information got to your BambooHR profile -> Pay Info (tab) -> scroll down to Direct Deposit

  • Paper checks - Are not preferred due to our work and camp environment. A lost check creates extra work for everyone

*Note: A physical check would be printed from our Berkeley office then mailed to the address in your BambooHR profile not mailed to the Lair due to inconsistent mail pick ups/drop off's

When do I get paid?

Payday is twice per month, on the 6th and 21st. 

If a payday lands on a bank holiday or weekend, you will be paid the business day(s) before.

What will I see on my paycheck?

• • [ Salary rate + Meals & Lodging ]  - Meals & Lodging - Taxes = Paycheck Amount

• Paycheck amounts may vary depending on state and federal income taxes
  
  

Note: (Meals and Lodging is not taxable at the federal level; however, may be taxable in some states)

• Tips earned will be included in each paycheck with each payroll cycle

Note: The Lair uses the Tip Pooling process, which means all tips collected in each camp are dispersed evenly among the staff of those specific camps.*

*Managers and supervisors are not included in the Tip Pool and do not receive tips.

• Reimbursements for required training course that are reimbursable will be reflected on your paycheck
