Hi Parents. We are so excited to announce that Ridgeline Elementary has been given a grant to use Inner Explorer, an on-line program that discusses daily practice for mindfulness with our students. The simple “just press play” program fosters life skills such as improved focus, compassion, gratitude, and self-regulation as key elements for student’s continuous improvement. Using this program has proven effectiveness of daily practice that includes: reduction in stress, increases in overall well-being, decreases in disciplinary behavior by 60%, and Higher grades for reading, math, and science by 28%. Teachers have been given access to use this program in their classroom, but our license also allows the entire school community, including families, full account access to each age-appropriate program every day of the year.
