April/May Tasks

By the end of the month your child should be able to pass off the following tasks:

• writes 25 sight words ( I, like, am, can, see, to, a, no, my, the, we, on, go, it, and, up, look, in, at, do, it, come, here, he, me)

• recites “Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary”

• fluently adds to 5

• fluently subtracts to five

• solves addition and subtraction word problems within 10.

March Tasks

By the end of the month your child should be able to pass off the following tasks:

• produces a series of rhyming words

• reads 25 sight words (I , like, am, can, see, to, a , no, my, the, we, on, go, it, and, said, look, in, at do, is, come, here, he, me)

• recites “Little Boy Blue”

• identifies 10 shapes (circle, triangle, square, rectangle, hexagon, cube, cylinder, cone, sphere, prism)

• skip counts by 10’s to 100

• writes numbers to 30
