S.A.F.E September Classroom Lesson

Emotional Safety

Being able to express your feelings and have someone listen and respond kindly. We feel safe when we make friends with people who accept our differences and care for us as we are. Feeling SAFE is important for our growth and learning.

S.A.F.E

Safe with SELF: Safe to be myself, to be confident and  to be unique.

Safe with ACTIONS: Standing up for yourself and others.

Safe with FRIENDS: Be a good friend, accept differences, and include others

Safe with EMOTIONS: Share your feelings calmly.

Personal Boundaries

We learn that personal boundaries are what we are okay with and what we are not okay with. That goes along with personal space and personal bubbles. When we respect others boundaries and they respect ours, we feel emotionally and physically safe.
