WORK ACTIVITIES
At this time, we are in the response phase of work. We are working with a local distribution center, assisting them with meal prep for the flood survivors. We are also doing home clean up, where work can range from mold and damaged item removal (muck and gut,) sanitization, and general tasks done to clean up the home so that the homeowner can start the next phase of recovery.
TYPICAL WORKDAY
Please keep in mind, that this is a new program, and scopes of work and schedules continue to evolve. We appreciate your flexibility. This is a rough estimate of what the schedule will look like.
6 AM- Lights on
6-7 AM- Get ready for work, make breakfast and lunch
7:15 AM- Stretch circle
7:30 AM- Start Day
12/1 PM- Lunch
4 PM- Pack up, return to base
5 PM- Volunteer Meeting
8:30 PM- Curfew
10 PM- Curfew/Lights out
