THE BASICS

Location: Porto Alegre, Brazil 

Cost: Volunteering with All Hands and Hearts is free. We provide accommodation for the duration of your stay and meals on workdays. Keep in mind you will be responsible for the cost of your background check, travel both to and from the program, meals on your day(s) off, and any costs associated with taking a three-day mental health break each month where you are required to stay away from the program. 

Work Days: Tentatively Monday - Saturday (this may change due to the quickly evolving needs of the program) 

Arrival Days: Monday - Friday

Accommodation: We have basic co-ed accommodations at a local banquet and event hall that is also hosting a distribution hub. Each volunteer will have a sleeping space on a pallet. Mattresses and bedding may be available, but please reach out to staff regarding availability. 

Meals:  We will provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner on all working days

WiFi:  Currently there is limited access to Wifi on base. A SIM card with data is recommended
