As a school counselor I....

• Provide Monthly Classroom lessons to all students, which address the CASEL social emotional competencies

• Form part of the PBIS Committee and participate in school wide activities that foster positive school culture

• Provide Short-Term Individual Counseling

• Provide Short-Term Group Counseling

• Collaborate and provide psychoeducation to parents in order to support their children's emotional wellbeing (e.g. parenting partners)

• Consult with teachers to implement in-class strategies that foster Social Emotional Learning

• Link students and family to alternative resources for additional supports (referrals)
