All ED 272 Residents will be meeting VIRTUALLY for the remainder of the term.
Attendance & engagement (including Canvas) are mandatory.
Create a schedule to engage with the course on a regular basis
Plan to arrive to class on time and prepared to fully participate
Camera on and in a appropriate location (ex: not in transit)
If there is an unavoidable absence, communicate with the course instructor; more than 1 absence/lack of consistent course engagement will result in committee review and the possible need to retake the course.
Any attendance emergencies, please contact your faculty member & director.
See the full attendance policy here.
All assignments are due on time. Please carefully plan time for assignments.
In the event (extenuating circumstance) that you need, you must request an extension from your instructor. We work to support students who may need more time and please know that extension timelines must be considerate of faculty’s schedules and are at their discretion.
Discuss your schedule with your mentor teacher and director to ensure a balance between coursework and placement responsibilities.

Please keep in mind that most classroom issues can typically be resolved with your instructor's assistance.
However, if you find that your concerns cannot be addressed through your instructor or your director, please utilize the resident reporting form. This will help ensure that your concerns are addressed promptly and effectively. Thank you for your cooperation!
