Schedule revolves around a four-year cycle, which includes a mid-cycle review in addition to the full review. The program review cycle incorporates SLOA reporting (still every two years). Years without a report due are designated for program improvement or development. The connection between program review and student learning outcomes assessment, as two tools for program-level analysis and improvement, are more clearly articulated.

Some considerations for Program Review scheduling:
Ensuring that departments or otherwise affiliated programs are grouped on the same review cycle, so that they can combine multiple programs into one report if they desire.
Balancing the number of programs undergoing a full or mid-cycle review in any given year (impacts equity in workload for the reviewing committee members).
Decisions about whether similar disciplines should be reviewed in the same years, or whether the dean prefers more cross-disciplinary reviews.
Possible impacts of specialized accreditation reviews where applicable.
We need to have at least a draft schedule for each college or school by August 6th. Department input can be gathered later.
