Absence Management is an automated placement service that finds substitutes to fill your classrooms.
Outbound calling and other configurable, automated tasks are available to support district preferences and requirements.
Web access, a mobile app, and call options offer additional, manual methods to proactively search for, assign, and fill jobs.
Real-time reporting is available to administrators 24/7.
Administrators can perform approvals and manage their system configuration at any time through web and mobile options.
There are four types of Absence Management users, each one accessing the system for different reasons.

Can create absences by either logging into Absence Management, calling Absence Management, or by using the Frontline mobile app.
Can view Absence Reason Balances and scheduled absences, leave feedback, and create a list of preferred subs. (*Some of these are optional features or can only be completed through a web login.)
Can view training materials online via the Absence Management Learning Center.
Can search for jobs 24/7 by logging into Absence Management, calling Absence Management, or by using the Frontline mobile app.
Will receive calls from the system when jobs are available.
Can view their schedule, create non-work days, leave feedback, set calling preferences, and set preferences for where they want to work. (*Some of these are optional features or can only be completed through a web login.)
Can view training materials online via the Absence Management Learning Center.
Can view/approve all absences at their school location by logging in to Absence Management or by using the Frontline mobile app.
Can access multiple reports to view valuable system data.
Can manage preferred substitutes.
Can view training materials online via the Absence Management Learning Center.
Can configure the system based on district needs (e.g., Skill Matching, Absence Approval, etc.).
Can add new employees and substitutes.
Can access numerous reports and use a report-creating program called Report Writer.
Can view/approve absences, as needed, by logging in to Absence Management or by using the Frontline mobile app.
Can contact Client Services and view training materials online via the Absence Management Learning Center.
A teacher enters an absence by:
Logging into Absence Management
Calling Absence Management, or
Using the Frontline mobile app
If the absence requires a sub, the system will work to fill it by calling qualified and available subs.
Qualified subs will also be able to view jobs by:

Once the absence is filled, the school Administrator:
Can be notified via email,
Can view this data manually by logging into Absence Management, or
Access the Frontline mobile app
Note: Administrators will also be able to view reports showing the status of all absences at their location.
Employees, substitutes, Campus Users, and Organization Users access Absence Management online by going to the following web address:
