We have our opportunities for you to come in Romania on an internship in Cluj Napoca here on the website on the Our Opportunities page😉. 

Usually there are 2 interviews, one with our team in Cluj Napoca, and one with the company you will be applying at. You will first have an interview with us, where we get to know you, your motivation, your experience and your availability better, and we also talk logistics, like costs, company, skills, etc.

The accommodation is provided by us, and it will be in the city you work, usually in student or private dorms. You will be able to get to work pretty easily through the extensive public transportation system, the average time to your place of work may be about 30-40 minutes, but can be higher or lower depending on where the company has their office.

Your internship will be most likely in Cluj Napoca. We also open internships with companies from other cities like Targu Mures, Brasov, Iasi, Sibiu, etc. The city is mentioned on the opportunity page from aiesec.org where you apply.

Once you get here, considering your accommodation is covered, the living costs can reach about 600€ for the opportunity duration of around 2 months, but it depends on your plans and life style. We can help you with budgeting if you are having worries over the costs. There is also the opportunity fee, that is usually 200€ for our short term opportunities. You will pay this fee once you get accepted by the company. And the other major cost is the flight to Romania, this can vary a lot, depending how far you are coming from. If you want to save money on your ticket we recommend getting a flight to the capital Bucharest and then taking the train to Cluj Napoca. In total, it depends, but you can expect around 1000€ to be your expected costs.
