May and Dennis Rex

I wanted my parents to have a presence at the Hermitage because they both died before my involvement with the Awakened Heart Sangha, and the only other memorial to them is a line in a crematorium Book of Remembrance.

They were ordinary yet extraordinary people; surviving the Great Depression, World War 2 (as combatants), the Bristol Blitz and the Cold War. Also having to work, raise a family and adjust to the advances in technology. I know that I did not appreciate them enough when I was younger but the Covid 19 crisis puts everything into perspective. As they knew ...Death comes without warning.....

I hope that they have found Peace and am grateful to the Hermitage for enabling them to be remembered.
