2022-23 Cohort
The 2022-23 school year marks a vision shift for the Legacy Project as the program returns to its advocacy roots. AHC has appointed new staff to the Legacy leadership team with backgrounds in environmental science, creative ecologies, and culturally relevant art history. With the complete return to in-person classes, students will have more opportunities with experiential learning in integrated arts and environmental advocacy. This year, Legacy will also be collaborating more in-depth with City Slicker Farms and West Oakland Environmental Indicators Project to develop curriculum that connects locally relevant environmental justice issues into the broader sphere of the global climate crisis.
