Program Description

This year’s curriculum will revitalize The Legacy Project’s hands-on, immersive approach to environmental justice learning, using the four Western classical elements (Earth, Water, Air, and Fire) as a guiding concept. Throughout 30 weeks, the 2021-22 cohort will engage with the elements by acquiring knowledge and participating in art and advocacy focused activities that highlight the cultural, scientific, and historical context of each element.

Learning Outcomes

  • Use art creation as a method of self expression and advocacy.

  • Become advocates in topics that generate in you urgency.

  • Uplifting and amplifying the voices of your youth which carry the aspiration and inspiration for our communities.
