Click on any of the titles below to find articles, games, and activities on each topic!

Students will explore our Earth and the changes that occur.  Students will take part in labs to understand how weathering, erosion, and deposition change the way the Earth looks.  We will uncover the layers of the Earth and how tectonic plates result in landforms forming, earthquakes, and volcanos.  Students will practice reading maps and they will engineer an earthquake resistant structure.

Students will learn about some of the internal and external structures of living things.  Students will uncover the parts of a flower and how animals use their structures to survive.  We will also uncover some of the systems of the human body, such as the skeletomuscular system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, and nervous system.

Students will explore how information can be transferred!  They will explore the morse code system and write/decode their own morse code messages.

Students will go on an energy journey uncovering the differences between renewable and nonrenewable energy, participate in a windmill lab, experiment with sound waves, build models used for exploring speed, identify the difference in potential and kinetic energy, and explore how circuits work by building their own!
