Students will explore the landforms and bodies of water on our Earth!  We will learn about the water cycle and practice our map making skills!  Students will create a 3D map using clay.  We'll explore how erosion changes the land and create diagrams for preventing erosion.

Students will learn about the three states of matter!  We will explore how to describe matter by color, texture, and flexibility.  Students will deepen their knowledge on material purposes.  We'll uncover the differences between reversible and irreversible changes and physical and chemical changes.  

Students will explore how simple machines make work easier!  We will experiment with catapults and uncover how friction affects objects.

Students will learn about different biomes on Earth.  They will create trioramas of a biome of their choosing.  We will explore what a food chain is and create a representation of one.
