STEAM education stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, and it's considered important because it integrates artistic and creative thinking with traditional STEM subjects, allowing students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and creativity while learning technical concepts, preparing them better for real-world challenges in a diverse job market.
STEAM education aims to:
Foster Creativity
Improve Collaboration
Develop Critical Thinking
Promote Inclusivity
Have Real-World Application
Our program uses a combination of curriculum resources and our own creativity to provide our students with an engaging and enriching experience!
The Harold Grinspoon Charitable Foundation’s Cooler Communities Program has been engaging K-12 students across all subjects in learning about climate solutions and energy conservation since 2019. With our new book we invite teachers, students and their families to become Energy Detectives.
