School Council

At Charles Warren Academy we understand and value pupil’s voice.

All our pupils have an opportunity to play an active role in decisions that affect their learning and well-being. Our School Council plays an essential part in ensuring our pupils have a greater say over matters that affect their academy life and education. In this way, our children have a greater sense of belonging, become more confident when putting forward ideas and develop a greater understanding of the need to work co-operatively for the good of others

Our school councillors represent their peers and bring forward their views to improve the school. Each Councillor has been elected by their class to be their representative at the meetings. The School Council has also held an election to choose a Chair person who will be running the meetings, a Vice Chair person who replaces the Chair if absent and also assist the Chair person and a Secretary who takes the minutes of the meetings.

The School Council is proud of representing the pupil’s voice at Charles Warren Academy and thrives to achieve better things to make our academy as good as it can possibly be.

Our Councillors will always be available to listen to new suggestions, ideas, etc from pupils, staff and parents.
