Dad Barry happily did the 200-mile round trip from home to Witham and back again to ensure his son continued studying at the place he loved.

Henry, who is keen to now go into engineering with his dad and is looking at apprenticeships, said: “I moved to live with my dad a year ago, just before my second year of sixth form started. I wanted to carry on with the same course and with the same teachers as they had always helped me a lot. Every second has been worth it with my result today. I could not have asked for better from my dad or my teachers. I was absolutely petrified to get my results. But, now I know I can do anything I feel immortal!”
