Not many years ago I began to play the cello. Most people would say that what I am doing is “learning to play” the cello. But these words carry into our minds the strange idea that there exists two very different processes:
(1) learning to play the cello; and
(2) playing the cello.
They imply that I will do the first until I have complete it, at which point I will stop the first process and begin the second. On short, I will go on “learning to play” until I have “learned to play” and then I will begin to play. Of course this is nonsense. There are not two processes but one. We learn to do something by doing it. There is no other way.

We gain learning and learning to gain by doing over and over and in this way it becomes second nature; gaining such confidence in any one thing and thus everything by repetition, doing it day in, day out!

The following words were written on the tomb of an Anglican Bishop in the Crypts of Westminster Abbey:
When I was young and free and my imagination had no limits, I dreamed of changing the world. As I grew older and wiser, I discovered the world would not change, so I shortened my sights somewhat and decided to change only my country.
But it too, seemed immovable.
As I grew into my twilight years, in one last desperate attempt, I settled for changing only my family, those closest to me, but alas, they would have none of it.
And now as I lie on my deathbed, I suddenly realise: If I had only changed my self first, then by example I would have changed my family.
From their inspiration and encouragement, I would then have been able to better my country and, who knows, I may have even changed the world.

One cannot take on anything until they have an intense understanding of self, once they have opened themselves to change, acknowledge the new and improved self by learning. They can then lead others so easily.
Self love, self care and self acceptance is change, all of which are key to growing.

There are two aspects of attitude:
Your ability and knowledge that if you can conquer that one thing, such as a promotion/new job role yet anxiety or fear of failure is so intense that you want to get rid of that negativity to get ahead.
Deep rooted fears, anguish, anxiety are holding you back from what you want.. needing the freedom to move to the next stage in whatever aspect of your Life.
We have major perceptions of ourselves and all aware of the clique of we are our own worst enemy! This is so evident in holding us back from what we really want and sadly it is deep rooted in the lack of self belief in everything abour ourselves, our abilities, our anger of the past and fear of what the future holds and can come down to actual fear of failure and/or the idea of criticism of been judged in the negative sense.
That negative attitude is so deep rooted and only working with the subconscious will get rid of it! To let go of the past!
All three aspects are extremely important.
