FUN FACTS:

I was born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia. I graduated from ACS Calvert in 1979, a proud Cougar. I am the mother of four kind, beautiful, and hard-working children: Alexandra (35), Nicholas (33), Mikaela (30), and Sofía (22) who are also proud Cougars.

During my free time, I like to garden, cook, and read. My favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas when I get to prepare wonderful meals and share the warmth of my home with family and friends.

Ever since I was five years old I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I would gather the neighborhood kids and teach them the alphabet or we would make crafts together. Education flows through my veins; my great aunts were the first women to be trained as teachers in Bolivia. My grandfather was the Secretary of Education and president of the UMSA for twelve years, and my father was the first Bolivian to teach English at the CBA.
