PLTW-Turley

Teacher Bio

Hi! I'm Caroline Turley. This is my fourth year at Asheville Middle, but my sixteenth teaching in a computer lab. I like teaching technology-based courses because they are hands-on and interactive. I started out teaching high school English/ELA, and was also a Media Specialist for three years. A few years into my teaching career, I took a detour and did newspaper work (writing and photography) and worked for a website design company.

I currently live in Black Mountain with my cat Walter, and two dogs, Bella and Sally. In my free time, I like to read, do art, play guitar, and listen to music. I look forward to sharing this online adventure with you!

P.S. PLTW stands for Project Lead the Way. It's a non-profit organization that creates STEM-based curriculum for K-12 students.
