Welcome to NGSS Physics! The four links below are the most important links we will be using in this class. You must understand them and use them often to succeed.
This link takes you to your personalized report of your current learning progress in this class. It shows you the following information:
how much of the semester's learning you have completed
your current grade based on assignments that have been completed to date
your learning conference log that includes how to improve
semester skill list by level with suggested due dates
Green highlight: Skills self-assessed before or on the Suggested Due Date
Red highlight: incomplete Skills that are past the Suggested Due Date
Yellow highlight: incomplete Skills are due within 3 days or less
At the bottom your earned badges for each level are shown
Graphing Patterns and Relationships in Physics
This link is the next most useful link that you will use in this class. Physics is all about relationships and finding patterns in data that allow us to predict the future. This document explains how to recognize, explain, and gives examples of these patterns.
Understanding these patterns is a cornerstone of this class.
This link takes you a handy dandy equation sheet that you can use during any homework problems, assignments, labs, learning conferences, and after school activities. It is sectioned by level. There are paper copies in class on the wall between the windows that may be more convenient to use.
This is a link to your Learning Conference Log. If you are asked to fill this out, CONGRATULATIONS!, it means that you have made it to a point in your learning where you will benefit from a learning conference.
Please fill out all of the prompts EXCEPT for the last one which I will for out BEFORE you submit.
