Slope vs. R-Squared (R2, r2, R^2, r^2) What does it mean?

Most of the data tables we will be using in this class need to be set up like they are in this Google Sheets example. Notice the Independent Variable (IV), the variable that is decided during the procedure, is in the left column. The Dependent Variables (DV), the variable that is measured based on your experiment, has 3-5 trials and they are located across the top in a row.
Important: Notice how there are no units next to the numbers. Keep it that way!
