The 21st Century California School Leadership Academy, based in UC Berkeley, offers professional development to district and county office leadership teams on UTK implementation and ther roles as leaders. Professional learning is offered via many formats, which include trainings, coaching, and communities of practice.
Center for District Innovation and Leadership in Early Education (DIAL EE)
DIAL EE supports school districts with their planning for UPK through T & TA. The website provides numerous resources related to UPK and P-3 alignment, including slides and sample plans.
California Preschool Instructional Network (CPIN)
CPIN provides high-quality professional development, technical assistance, and support to California’s preschool program administrators and teachers, on the California Preschool Learning Foundations (PLF) and California Preschool Curriculum Framework (PCF), and Preschool English Learners: Principles and Practices to Promote Language, Literacy, and Learning (PEL Resource Guide).
CECO provides free, online, asynchronous professional development training modules for early childhood educators. Many modules are also available in Spanish! Educators can link their workforce registry ID and receive professional development hours for the trainings viewed.
