This exam will help better prepare your scholar in navigating the testing platform utulized for the State Exam. This is why we ask for your partnership in assuring your scholars attendance for the following dates below.

Hello CHMS Families,
Each school year, scholars from grades 5th to 8th will take Interim Assessments. Illuminate will be the main platform utilized for these exams. All Interim Assessments (IAs) will be taken on this platform. These IA exams will help assess your scholars understanding of the concepts and skills they have learned thus far.
We are sharing this information with you so you can partner with us in building confidence, reducing anxiety, and celebrating the growth of your child throughout this period.
In preparation for these assessments, please work to ensure your child continues to keep strong attendance throughout the next few weeks. We kindly request that all scholars get to school on time, school doors open at 7:30am. This will allow scholars to eat breakfast and have some time to get mentality prepared for the exams. This is especially important on the dates listed below to ensure your child participates in the IA.
