Active Parenting First Five Years
Parent and Caregiver Program
Active Parenting First Five Years is designed to support parents of children ages 0-5. We spend time understanding what it's like to be a parent of children ages 0-5 years old, what we can reasonably expect of our children, and ideas for growing our parenting skills. The programs emphasize cooperation, self esteem, responsibility, and promotes supportive discipline.

Nurturing Parenting for Prenatal Families
Parent Program
This prenatal program focuses on the current issues faced by parents expecting a child including the relationships between healthy pregnancy and proper nutrition, the effects of stress on the baby, the use of prescription drugs, substance use during pregnancy, ways to keep a healthy sexual relationship, and important topics of body image, weight gain, dieting, and brain development during pregnancy.

Infant Safe Sleep & Period of Purple Crying
Parent and Caregiver Program
The Infant Safe Sleep workshop explores the myths and facts of a safe sleep environment for babies. In this course you will learn about the ABC's of safe sleep and see what a safe sleep environment looks like.

The Period of Purple Crying program discusses normal infant crying, strategies for coping, and ways to soothe a crying baby. During your time in this course, you will learn about the normal crying curve all babies endure during the first few months of their lives.

Playgroups
Parent and Caregiver Event
Playgroups are a time for children 0-5 years old and parents to get together. We provide all the materials for children to play with other children while parents can connect with other parents! Typically we have age appropriate activities for children to practice their gross motor, fine motor, problem solving skills, as well as their developing thinking and social emotional skills!
