The Micro:bit website has a lot of suggestion and tutorials to get you started on their Make It Code It page as well as their main Makecode page where you can also find the code editor.
If you and your class have tried some of these already and are looking for another challenge...
Below are some Micro:bit programs that the digital learning team have put together for use in various workshops and events.
We are also happy to discuss any projects you are interested in using the Micro:bit for but are unsure about how to go about it. You can contact us at digitalhub@argyll-bute.gov.uk

The Robo:Bit is a motorised robot/buggy that utilises the Micro:Bit as it's controller. The team has a stock of Robo:Bits that schools can borrow and the following challenges support the Robo:Bit
Getting Started: Coding the Robot:bit This challenge is a simple start to working with the Robo:Bits and making them move in a sequenced way.
Intermediate: Challenge - Radio Control This challenge enables the pupils to explore a simple radio control using a second Micro:Bit to control the Robo:Bit.
Advanced: Challenge - Bulldozer Drive This challenge is an advanced and fun way to explore the Robo:Bit. The code for this example is complex and can be directly accessed here:
