Writing

Foundations of Writing is used to introduce writing.

Read Write Inc Phonics progression is used to teach sounds and letter formation from P1-P2.  

Colourful semantics support the understanding of grammar within a sentence if required for some children as a support tool.

PM Writing is used from P2 - P7 to support consistent approaches to extended Writing.  

Nelson Handwriting is used from P3 to P7 to teach joins.  

Nelson Grammar and RWInc Spelling (P3 upwards) is used from  P2 to P7 as a structure to support delivery of the Grammar progressions. 

Read, Write Perform can further support extended writing opportunities at P6/7
