Third Level Literacy

At the end of Second Level pupils should use be introduced to PEEL paragraphs to develop critical analysis of text.  Once onto Emerald/Sapphire level tasks this should be used to develop  skills of evaluation and analysis.  Please see the explanation - How to write a PEEL paragraph to understand how each of the componants should be taught.  The key difference between Second and Third Level is at second they should give evidence to explain a point, at Third Level they are required to justify/explain.
