We draw your attention to the insurance position of your child whilst they are a child in an Aberdeen school.

No insurance cover is held by Aberdeen City Council to provide compensation in the event of a pupil or parent incurring a personal accident or death.

The council holds Third Party liability insurance, this indemnifies ACC for claims arising from third parties (pupils or parents) who may have experienced injury, illness, loss or damage arising from negligence of the Council or its employees. In the event of no negligence being confirmed, no claim will be accepted by the Council.
