Welcome to the 2021 Huron High School International Baccalaureate Visual Arts Virtual Exhibition! Each of our 27 Visual Arts seniors has been developing artwork for this Exhibition throughout our two-year class. They have each selected a theme to help create cohesion and deeper expression in their art. The work featured on this site represents the very best of their efforts.

In March of 2020, the trajectory of this class (and of so many other things) changed dramatically because of the Coronavirus pandemic. Since then, our students have been working from home, attending class virtually, and developing their artwork without the physical and emotional supports of an in-person learning environment. Most of the work featured in this Exhibition was created in this time of separation and challenge. I can think of no greater testament to the creativity, skill, and resilience of these young artists than the artwork that they have produced under these difficult circumstances.
