Concerned About a Student's Vaping or Use of Substances? (flyer attached)
Students age 12+ and their parents or caregivers are invited to attend a virtual conversation with Cayla Yuhn, LMSW, a Michigan Medicine Substance Use Counselor. The group will discuss the health impacts of vaping, drug, and alcohol use, including why substance use happens, when it starts, and how to make smart choices moving forward. The conversation is available the second Monday of every month from 5:00-7:00 p.m. This is a great alternative to suspension or can be used to earn extra credit, or for any student and their parents/caregivers who are interested in this topic. Certificates of completion are available. Click here or on the image to download flyer.
