Robotics Club

Students will explore various types of robots. They will have the opportunity to examine the task and write a code for the robot to follow. The robots will be coded to perform different tasks.

A special thank you to our community Walmart on George Claus Blvd for their continued support. Their recent donation will be used to purchase new robotics materials for the students in the Recess Robotics Club.

Students were asked to code their Edison robot like an autonomous train found at theme parks. Edison was coded to:

follow a black line
stop at all obstacles
wait several seconds for people to board the train
flash lights as a warning that the train will begin moving
