The International Economics & Finance Signature Program will help students develop a sense of individual responsibility, learn life and career skills, gain business, finance, and economic skills, and the critical thinking skills necessary to achieve the highest levels of personal, academic, and career success.

Earn a Business Management Certificate from Anne Arundel Community College!
Signature has partnered with Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) to offer Old Mill High School students the opportunity to graduate high school with 18 free college credits and a Business Mangement Certificate from AACC.
Students on this pathway will take college courses during their junior and senior years through the Early College Access Program (ECAP) and will earn dual-credit (high school and college) for each course. ECAP courses now have free tuition and free class materials for all AACPS students. Junior year classes are offered at OMHS during regular school hours. Senior year classes are either offered online or at AACC’s campus. Students can take one or all courses offered.
Each college course is worth 3 college credits and .5 elective HS credits

International Economics and Finance Explorations I (Personal Finance)
In International Economics and Finance Explorations I, students will develop an economic way of thinking, an understanding of major issues in economics, and financial literacy skills through project and game-based inquiry learning and collaboration with experts in their community. Students will begin to develop a personal financial portfolio focused around their future goals and practice in making wise investment choices through career investigation and participation in the Stock Market Game. H International Economics and Finance Explorations II (Econ0mics)
In Honors Signature Capstone, students will expand their understanding of international economics, money management, and key facets of business to grow as future leaders in their local and global economies. Students will develop professional skills including project organization, public speaking, and networking through project-based learning. Throughout the yearlong course students will investigate types of businesses, monetary and fiscal policy, sustainability, financial ethics, and international economics through the development of their own business-based financial portfolio.
