School Social Workers are uniquely qualified to apply their knowledge and expertise of child development, mental health, learning and behavior to help children and adolescents succeed in school. As members of the student services team, School Social Workers work to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Please join us in welcome Ms. Ishshah to Meade Middle as our new School Social Worker! Ms. Ishshah comes from Thrive Behavioral Health and we are thrilled to have her join our team.
Social Worker Role – to work collaboratively with the school team, the larger AACPS team, student, student’s family and the community to eliminate any barrier to our student’s accessing the curriculum and becoming fully prepared to advance to the next level of education.
